Surviving guide for 2012
It was the summer of 1979, I went to a retreat in the mountains of Chiapas Mexico. Up in the top, between Tabasco and Tapachula Chiapas, sets a town name Jitotol, which in ancient Mayan means “up high”. During my stay there for three days I heard that deep into Quintana Roo a State South of the peninsula of Yucatan, existed an old seer, a direct descendant of the Mayan tribe.
This old man believed to be over one hundred years old, it is also believed that he could hold your hand and tell your future, or just future things that you will became aware as time passes. My curiosity won me over, so I got together with a guide who just wanted the adventure of a days journey and good conversation and took into the Jungle, in some instances it is call the black jungle, because you open a trail by machete and in hours you can not find your way back. Of course nothing was going to stop me if I wanted to know about my future. By that time I have been to Canada, several States in the US and several others in Mexico, my goal was to visit Cancun anyway so I was going in that direction. We walk thru some old trails, some that almost disappear under the heavy vegetation, most of the day there were some scattered rain drops, very often some showers for about 5 minutes and then intense humid heat.
We arrived to a clearing where several mango trees were growing, this were not ordinary size trees, they were tall, huge trees it seem that one could build a house on the top of it. That is exactly what the old seer had done. The old man came down from the tree holding on to an old rope, and carefully stepping down some makeshift stairs. I introduce myself and then asked for his name: he answered: “ Mateo Balaam.”
Maybe, I thought he was a direct descendant of a high priest, during our conversation I became aware of the fact that the old man was blind. I was startled because he move as if he could see everything around him. I was tired so I sat comfortable close to the tree, lay my head back and fell asleep. Some delicious smell woke me up, Mateo had started a fire and the smell of garlic was heavy in the air. Soon we were eating and exchanging stories, obviously he had a lot more stories than me. One story in particular was his reason for being so deep in the jungle, he explained that the reason was a dream, he had when he was still young, he received a message from Quetzaltcoatl, he told him(Quetzaltcoalt) to be all alone after his 100 birthday because him (Quetzaltcoalt) was going to show up in his chariot and take him to paradise. I asked what was paradise? was it a place somewhere in this planet?, no, he said.
It is another planet not to far from this solar system, but only Quetzaltcoalt can take you there. He continue singing the praises of this new planet, no more sickness, no more hunger, no more envy, people live forever. I had the sensation that I was wasting my time, I have hear stories out of the TV evangelist in the US, mythologies of some sort of a second coming. It was late and I had to spend the night. The next day there was a pile of maza balls with sea salt grains (corn, cooked with white stone local to the land and then crashed to a fine powder, mixed with water, lard and embedded with some sea-salt grains) to avoid dehydration. The old man sat by me and hold my hand, without me asking he started talking about the events that happen to me before I decided to enlist in this journey of self discovery. He had no books, no TV, no radio, yet he spoke of recent events, his conversation convince me that somehow this man was connected to the “whole,” without having any physical means, just the mind. His mantra, “the mind is the most powerful tool in the Universe, those who control the mind, control everything.”
He encourage me to sat and meditate, let the mind try to get out of the body and then, out of the atmosphere, then pass the moon, and so on, very soon the experience transformed me into a sort of time traveller in my mind. It must have passed several hours because it was late again. Mateo had falling asleep in his hamack, I was trying to hung mine, it is hard to find the ends of this complex, but yet simple bedding. Tie up my hamack to a couple of trees and fell asleep again.
Morning of day three, this time the smell was pungent of a very sweet fruit, mangos and papayas, and bananas, wow this was not an ordinary breakfast. I got up, threw some cold water on my face, and got closer to the fire. Mateo gave me a half cut coconut casing, full of fruit cut in chunks, then he squeezed lemon juice, and sprinkle red hot pepper powder mixed with salt. It seem weird, but tasted delicious. Today he was ready to tell me the twenty one steps to survival of any catastrophic event cause by earths geological movements. Some time in the past it happened in the peninsula, some of the pyramids were buried first swallowed by the earth, then push up into the sky forming some weird mounts around the disappeared city.( evidence can be found today in northern Guatemala, where some mountains have been discovered to actually have been pyramids mysteriously covered by dirt)
1. Find a flat surface preferably a desert, or in the high plains, make sure you have made some research and this place does not sets on a geological fault, this plaines can “surf” on lava and staty intact.
Somehow the Nazca plains come to mind, there are places to be believe never went under water during the biblical flood. Some are in China, others in Latin America. The type of catastrophe we are talking about in 2012 is not just a flood, it is a series of events like a chain reaction caused by the reverse polarity of the magnetic poles and the influence this polarity has in, the earths rotation, the wind patterns, the under sea current, etc. Add to that the confusion it will create in the animals that depend on this magnetic grid to guide themselves to feeding stations and safer places to spend the winter. The salt flats of Nevada and Utah are also very likely to be a safe place. I do not know if that explains why the Mormons were guided to Utah.

We have witnessed on TV what happens when a small earthquake cracks the plates in the middle of the Ocean, thousands loose their homes and lives. Imagine this to the 100 power.

Forest fires are mostly caused by Lightening, however if the forest is near an active volcano we will see a lot more fires. This activity it is not going to be a volcano shooting lava into the sky, more likely because of the numerous openings in the earths crust lava will just flow and run down to lower places, changing the landscape.

Stay close to fresh water source or keep enough water for a week. This sheet of invisible energy was given a thickness, imaginary of course, of approximately 144,000 km. This energy, he explained makes the polarity of the magnetic field go crazy and the magma in the center of the earth changes currents and it moves without direction causing the planet pain.
This will explain the observations before, animals that depend on the magnetic grid will be flying or swimming without sense of direction. Humans however have a developed brain that allowed us to reason, weight the consequences and change direction without much effort.

Some countries have experimented heavily in the area of telepathy, we do not know how much is true or how much is fantasy. It is inconclusive if twins are able to communicate with each other or if they just have similar characteristics in perception and therefore it “ seems” like telepathy. However, it is wise to note that for some cultures(Hindi, Mayan, Toltecs) this was an everyday ocurrence. When a mother has a feeling of something happening to the child and she contacts the child just to find out that some minutes before the physical communication ocurred, there was a sort of scream heard by the child, inside the mind preventing him/her from taking a descition that could have been disastrous and unhealthy.

Whatever it is, it was important for the Mayans to believe in and for the Catholic church to keep trying to destroy it, trying to keep it away from the mind of the “uncivilized” indigenous people. Even thought the Mayans had a better concept of the solar system than the Spaniards, they were force to keep passing this knowledge underground and in verbal format. Not because they did not know how to write, but because they did not want to share that with outside cultures, specially that of the conquerors.

When a large group is going through a stressful moment, some individuals move to take control of the direction this group should go. Stay away from such a groups, small groups of three or five is better. So much energy is wasted in trying to convince the rest of a large group that you have had an epiphany and you know what to do. Nobody will believe you, time is of the essence.
10. Be ready to see wild life in places you don’t expect, they are trying to survive, be aware of the poisonous snakes.
Since you are reading this today, you know what to expect, so organize yourself. Get together with family and friends have can goods, water and first aid kits ready in a place you all know. Plan and map the plan containing when and where you will met, as soon as the events are getting closer to your area. This events are going to happen gradually as the Earth rotates. Once you know the direction, time it and get on with the plan.

Maybe from a parallel Universe, or from future selves? Or just echoes of other people ideas that were left behind by previous owners? 12. Be prepared, temperatures will change suddenly. For a moment it will be freezing cold, then a heat rush. Periods of three to four hours. The wind will be trying to find a direction, sometimes it will blow in one direction and sometime in another.
According to Mr. Balaam’s narrative, the Earth will first accelerate in its rotation, then it will decelerate, to a point when gravity will not hold us to the earth any longer. Some houses will float (ergo why he had his house tied to a tree, basically woven in the branches, this hold everything anchor to the ground.) The effects of lack of gravity will lost around ninety minutes, then the earth will slowly regain its normal speed. Don’t panic when this lack of gravity begins to occur, find a spot, sat down and relax, you will feel almost Zero gravity. Probably barely touching the ground with your clothing.
13. Almost the zero gravity will end, stay away from falling objects, or rolling objects after they fall in a nearby hill. Be aware at all times.
Visibility will be difficult, not only you will have dust, but volcanic ash as well. Lots of esteem will have created fog everywhere. You might have to depend on your extrasensory perception.
